adWhite 2016 December Newsletter
HAPPY DECEMBER!
Are we having fun yet? If you’re like us, you’re probably wondering where the year went. How is it possible that we’re already listening to Christmas music and our feeds are inundated with pictures of clever little elves?
As the year comes to a close, we reflect back and wonder whether our Top 10 Digital Marketing Trends of 2016 were accurate (mostly) and review our projects, successes and challenges.
This year was a turning point for our agency. We fully embraced the inbound marketing philosophy and adopted HubSpot, a marketing automation software. adWhite became a HubSpot Certified Agency Partner, which means we are able to guide clients using the software and help them create content that generates leads and creates results.
As we set our sights on 2017, we look forward to helping clients meet and exceed their goals.
Happy holidays and best wishes for a wonderful new year!
Sincerely,
The adWhite team
CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
Big Little Fudge - Montgomery, TX
Big Little Fudge uses “big ingredients and big flavor” in its award-winning fudge. The delicious goodness is created, packaged and shipped through their Montgomery, TX location. It’s sold both retail and wholesale, available directly through the website or at variety of locations across the country including Sam’s Club, Cracker Barrel and Rudy’s Country Store.
We launched Big Little Fudge’s new responsive, mobile-friendly website this fall to increase their online presence and enhance the customer experience. Co-owner Robin Strickland explained, “our customers search and shop on their phones, so we wanted to make their experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. Fudge is fun, and our website should reflect that.”
Big Little Fudge has unique products, great packaging options, stellar customer service and a fun corporate culture (as evident in their recent mannequin challenge video).
We look forward to on-site visits with this company because we love seeing how the fudge is made. Naturally, we always offer to taste test the products — you know, for quality control and all.
If you need custom holiday gifts for clients, friends or neighbors this year check out Big Little Fudge. They’ll add your logo or holiday message at no additional cost. We particularly enjoy the peppermint “Little Naughtys.”
Mike Lampkin started as a contract Web Developer in June and became full time in October. After 20+ years of doing his own thing, he's settled into agency life quite well and enjoys his new "home away from home."
Rodney and Mike previously worked together in the 1990s, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to adWhite, enabling us to better serve and produce results for our clients.
INBOUND 2016 IN BOSTON
Three adWhite staff members attended the largest conference for our industry, INBOUND 2016, in Boston last month. Taylor, Emily & Jen heard keynote speakers, attended breakout sessions and discussed tips and best practices from other agencies and HubSpot users from across the world. It was a busy three days and we look forward to implementing the things we learned to help our clients right here in Texas.
THERE'S A NEW BABY IN THE ADWHITE FAMILY!
Account Manager Jen Marquart and her husband Tim welcomed Josiah Timothy on Friday, November 25. Mom and baby are doing great, and we’re enamored with this little bundle of joy. Congrats Marquart family!
